Mustard Sauce Recipe

You will need:-

½ cup prepared mustard

¼ cup dry white wine
2 teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon flour


Combine mustard, wine, sugar and salt in saucepan, simmer over gentle heat, stirring constantly. Mix flour with water to smooth cream, stir into mustard mixture and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. If mixture is too thick add a little more water. Serve hot or cold.


Note: This sauce is very good with oily fish.
