Gourmet Pork Sausages Recipe |

You will need :- 1 lb. pork sausages 1 level tablespoon Bisto 1 level teaspoon Continental mustard 1 rounded tablespoon redcurrant jelly 1 level teaspoon sweet paprika pepper 1 rounded tablespoon sweet pickles, chopped 1 tablespoon vinegar salt and pepper to taste 1 packet instant mashed potato (for 4) 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Preparation Time:- 10 minutes
Cooking Time:- 15 minutes
Grill or fry sausages for about 15 minutes until golden brown all over.
Meanwhile, make the Gourmet sauce. Blend Bisto with a little cold water. Boil ½ pint water, stir in all the seasonings, then the Bisto mix. Cook, stirring, until well blended, thick and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary. Allow to simmer and reduce slightly for 10 minutes.
Make up instant potato as directed on the packet. Spoon or pipe round the sides of a serving dish (see Quick Tip below). Arrange sausages in the centre. Pour over the sauce. Decorate with chopped parsley. Serves 4.
Quick Tip
To fill a piping bag with potato, turn back the top of the bag to form a deep cuff. Fill the bag pushing well down with a wooden spoon. Pull up cuff and twist to remove any remaining air. Always use a large strong forcing bag.
