Nut Pilaf Recipe

You will need :-

2 oz. butter or margarine

½ cup toasted almonds

½ cup pistachio nuts, shelled

1 quantity boiled rice

1½ teaspoon powdered mace

 

Cooking Time:- 7-8 minutes

 

Melt butter in deep or shallow fry pan set on fairly high heat. Toss mixed nuts in butter for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Reduce temperature a little, add rice, sprinkle with powdered mace and fork all ingredients together until hot.

 

Serves 4.
