Green Rice Pilaf Recipe

You will need :-

2 oz. butter or oil

10 shallots, trimmed and finely chopped green and white parts

1 quantity basic boiled rice

6 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped

salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

 

Cooking Time:- 10 minutes

 

Melt butter or oil in deep or shallow fry pan and gently sauté shallots until softened, but not browned. Raise temperature a little, add rice and fork shallots and rice together until well combined and hot. Add parsley and fork through. Season to taste before serving.

 

Serves 4.
