Crunchy Topped Fish Bake Recipe

You will need :-

4 plaice fillets

1 x 10 oz. tin condensed

mushroom soup

4 oz. grated cheese

2 oz. butter

1 teaspoon grated onion

dash Worcester sauce

dash garlic salt

1 small bag crisps

few anchovies

 

Preparation Time:- 10 minutes

 

Cooking Time:- 35 minutes

 

Oven Setting:- 350°F; Gas Mark 4

 

Put fillets in greased ovenproof dish. Spread with soup and top with cheese.

 

Melt butter, add onion, Worcester sauce and garlic salt. Mix well. Add crushed potato crisps and mix again.

 

Spread mixture over fillets and bake in centre of oven for 35 minutes. Garnish with criss-cross of anchovies and serve with tomato salad. Serves 4.

 

Quick Tip

 

Grate more cheese than you need. It will keep well in a screw-top jar and save you time when next preparing a recipe using grated cheese.
