Orange Mallow Recipe

32 large marshmallow or

3 cups miniature marshmallows

1 teaspoon grated orange peel

2/3 cup orange juice

1 cup chilled whipping cream or

1 envelope (about 2 oz.) dessert topping mix

 

Stir together marshmallows, orange peel and juice in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted. Chill until thickened.

 

In chilled bowl, beat cream until stiff. (If using dessert topping mix, prepare as directed on package.) Blend in marshmallow mixture. Pour into square pan, 8x8x2 inches. Freeze about 4 hours or until firm.

 

Serves 9.
