You will need :- For the biscuit crust:- 4 oz. digestive biscuits 2 oz. butter 2 oz. soft brown sugar For the filling and topping:- 1 pint packet chocolate instant whip ¾ pint milk ¼ pint single dairy cream ¼ pint double dairy cream
Preparation Time:- 10 minutes
Cooking Time:- 5 minutes
Crush biscuits between two sheets of greaseproof paper with a rolling pin. Melt butter and stir in sugar and crushed biscuit. Press into a deep 8 inch pie plate and chill.
Make up instant whip with milk and lightly whipped single cream following instructions on the packet. Turn into prepared biscuit crust flan and smooth over top.
Chill. Pipe tightly whipped double cream on top of the filling. Serves 4.
Quick Tip
A spoonful of single dairy cream poured on top of milk puddings before you bake them will give them a delicious creamy skin.
