Ham and Melon Balls Recipe |

You will need:- 1 medium sized melon 6 oz. cooked ham, cut into two slices pinch salt pinch sugar pinch pepper ¼ teaspoon French mustard 1 tablespoon vinegar 2 tablespoons oil cucumber slices
Preparation Time:- 15 minutes
Slice the top off the melon and scoop out the seeds. Scoop out the flesh from the melon using a ball cutter, or remove large pieces and cut into cubes.
Dice ham and mix with the melon balls. Mix seasonings with vinegar and add oil, mix well. Blend with melon balls and ham. Vandyke edge of melon shell with kitchen scissors. Return mixture to melon shell.
Chilled until ready to serve. Garnish with slices of cucumber. Serves 6.
Quick Tip
To test if a melon is ripe, press gently with the thumb at both ends. If it gives slightly, the melon is ripe, if it is remains firm it is not, and should be left for a few days before using.
