Devilled Ham Rolls Recipe

You will need:-

1 x 11 oz. can sweet corn

4 tablespoons French dressing

2 large potatoes, cooked

2 red skinned eating apples

2 inch piece cucumber

6 oz. cream cheese

2 teaspoons made mustard

3 tablespoons milk

salt and pepper

8 thin slices cooked ham

lemon juice

watercress

 

Preparation Time:- 15 minutes

 

Drain sweet corn and mix with French dressing, place on serving dish.

 

Dice potatoes, one cored, but unpeeled apple and cucumber. Beat cream cheese, then beat in mustard and milk. Stir in potatoes, apple and cucumber. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

 

Divide potato mixture between slices of ham and roll up. Place on bed of sweet corn. Core other apple and cut into slices, sprinkle with lemon juice and use to garnish rolls together with watercress. Serves 4.

 

Quick Tip

 

An attractive variation of this recipe is ham cornets. Wrap the slices of ham round cream horn tins oiled on the outside. Secure with a cocktail stick if necessary, then remove tins and fill with potato mixture.
